《흐르는 도시 FLUID SCAPE》

고은사진미술관 부산 프로젝트는 사진가의 독창적인 시각으로 부산의 문화, 역사, 그리고 변화하는 현재를 탐색하고 기록하는 장기 기획 프로젝트이다. 그간 국내외 사진가들이 '외부자의 시선'으로 부산을 새롭게 담아내며 주목받았다면, 올해 《부산 프로젝트 2026》은 부산을 기반으로 활동하는 사진가 이인미가 '내부자의 눈'으로 담아낸 지난 2년간의 기록을 선보인다.

이번 전시 《흐르는 도시 FLUID SCAPE》는 변모하는 부산과 그 안 시간의 흔적을 건축적 시선으로 포착한 흑백사진 시리즈다. ‘흐르는, 움직이는’을 뜻하는 'Fluid'와 풍경을 의미하는 'Scape'가 결합된 전시명처럼, 사진가는 끊임없이 변화하는 도시의 단면을 마주하며 그 속에 켜켜이 쌓인 삶의 궤적을 살핀다. 이는 대학에서 건축을 전공하고 건축 전문지 사진기자로 활동하며 도시 구석구석을 기록해 온 작가의 이력과 긴밀하게 연결된다. 익숙한 풍경을 낯설게 바라보는 사진가의 시선을 따라 부산의 현재와 과거를 함께 들여다보길 바란다.

Organized by the Goeun Museum of Photography, the Busan Project is an ongoing initiative that explores and documents the city's culture, history, and evolving present. While past editions highlighted 'outsiders' perspectives, Busan Project 2026 features a two-year body of work by Lee Inmi, a Busan-based photographer offering an 'insider’s' view.

This year’s exhibition, FLUID SCAPE, uses an architectural lens to capture Busan’s transformation through black-and-white photography. Combining 'fluid' (flux, reflecting transformation) and 'scape' (landscape), the title reflects Lee’s focus on the fragments of a changing city and the layers of time embedded within them. This approach stems from her background in architecture and her career as an architectural photojournalist. By rendering the familiar unfamiliar, Lee invites viewers to examine the overlapping past and present of Busan.
